Computing Classes
This involved learning basic keyskills i.e. word processing, Spread-sheets, database etc. e-mail and getting basic knowledge of internet browsing.
We laso conducted Mixed Spice Computer Classes. These classes were taken place at Forest House. We enrolled 10 women who had zero - poor knowledge of computer. Basically, this course was informal course which gave women better understanding of the equipments and also the basic knowledge of keyboard skills as well as Microsoft Word. At the end of this course the participants learnt more than they envisaged. It gave them the incentive to go for further development. This was a part of Mixed Spice project which was funded by Awards for All. The other part consisted of cookery.
